The Design of the Mosquito created uproar. Modern bombers are hude fortresses, bristling with
weaponry, but De Haviland decided to make this model out of wood and leave off all of the guns.
The result? a bomber that doesn't need guns, because interceptors can't catch up to it. The
fact that it doesn't use much metal during wartime shortages makes it even better.
